This is a 3/4" thick, 8" wide plank, solid pre-finished hickory. The wood is reclaimed and laminated together to reduce cupping problems. The look is unique and grand.
We installed the upstairs loft, hallway, and master bedroom. The customer is very happy with the look of this product and the installation. They are looking to give their home a "mountain resort" feel. They also installed a stone fire place in the master bedroom and stone flooring. The stone combined with this 8" plank is both rich and warm looking.

The loft after the original carpet was tore out. This room was level enough, but the master bedroom had peaks and valleys in the sub-floor. We were able to sand some of the plywood and build up other areas in order to make it work. We never know what we might run into when we estimate a floor that is covered by old flooring. I loved looking at the before and after pictures! I also enjoyed your photos of the rooms furnished with different prints of carpet, it helps me see that having carpet with a print in a room can work without feeling to busy. Thanks for the great ideas!!
